PPADMV

In 2020, PPADMV took action in numerous ways to advance access to reproductive health care in our region. For example, PPADMV mobilized at key moments during the pendency of two Supreme Court cases, June Medical Services v. Russo and Little Sisters of the Poor v. Pennsylvania, activating supporters to attend arguments at the Supreme Court and hosting a webinar to educate local Planned Parenthood supporters about the stakes of those cases. PPADMV also took action to support the policy priorities of PPMW and PPM in DC, Maryland, and Virginia in 2020, such as participating in the 2020 Women’s Equality Coalition Lobby Day in Richmond, VA. PPADMV joined Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia and other partners in Richmond to lobby legislators on behalf of proactive policy efforts including the Reproductive Health Protections Act.
