CONTRACEPTIVE EQUITY FUND

Contraceptive Equity Fund offers patients financial assistance in choosing their preferred birth control method. There are many different types of birth control and every woman has the right to choose which method of birth control is right for her needs. The current political climate is threatening to reverse the Affordable Care Act and exclude Planned Parenthood as a provider of Medicaid. This state of uncertainty is a major concern for our patients who are worried about their access and ability to receive care. More and more PPMW patients both want and request birth control options as part of their reproductive healthcare choices. The Contraceptive Equity Fund will ensure that all patients who seek birth control as part of their family planning options will be well informed and be able to do so, thanks to the support of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington.
